This is a beginner friendly rock climbing day trip at a climbing area located just in the Hanno area a bit past Hiwada-yama.  This area is not in any guidebooks, and just opened up last year, so it's a great chance to escape the crowds.  There are numerous easy to moderate routes, and some great overhangs you can try out to work on intermediate climbing skills.  The approach is also a just 150 Meters, so no need to tire yourself out before even climbing.

If you have never climbed before, that is fine, we will teach you everything you need to know on this trip!  

We will climb till about 4 p.m. and then pack up and stop by our nearby Hiker's lodge for snacks and beverages before taking you back to the station. First beer is on us.
