Mt. Fuji is the most iconic symbol of Japan, and is a goal for many visitors and foreign residents, not to mention the thousands of Japanese people who climb the mountain every year. The climb itself is not terribly difficult and even beginners are able to climb the mountain. You should be aware that climbing Mt. Fuji in the summer season is not a true wilderness and natural experience. There are crowds, but everyone is there for the same reason, and that is to experience what this special mountain has to offer.
We offer several packages for climbing Mt. Fuji, and specialize in providing services for small groups and families. You will not be herded along on a bus tour with any of our programs. The specific programs we offer are listed here, and full details can be found lower down the page.
If you are looking to do an off season snow climb then check out the following link: Snow Climbing trips (late May to June and mid September to early November)

Prince Route - Overnight Sunrise Hikes
The Prince Route is the best way to avoid the summer crowds on Mt. Fuji. There are only 2 operating huts on the route making the total number of climbers on this route less than 200 people per day, versus thousands of people on the other routes. There will be no waiting in human traffic jams as is typical of the other routes.
Our hut is a family run business and they offer the best food on the mountain. All you can eat curry and rice for dinner featuring plenty of veggies and meat. Other huts will basically service a small portion of rice and some curry soup leaving most climbers feeling hungry. Breakfast also features unlimited rice and miso soup as well as fried egg and sausage. You will not go hungry on this trip.
What makes this trip different from typical Mt. Fuji tours is our departure times are set up to avoid the crowds on the mountain. We have a great view of sunrise from our hut, and then head to the top after the thousands of people have started down from the summit. Over years we have developed this schedule and determined it is by far the best way to appreciate the mountain. *If you are determined to watch the sunrise from the summit, then please find another tour as we will not alter our schedule.
We also exclusively only operate small group adventures with a maximum of 9 people with 1 guide. It is a true team oriented experience where the guide and other participants will get to know each other through the climb.
Prince Route hikes available from July 1st to September 5th 2024.

To make sure your belongings stay dry we recommend to pack everything in a water and dust proof travel sack. Fragile items such as cameras should be packed in proper cases/bags.
