This trip is all about enjoying the finest parts of the Jogasaki Coast on the Izu Peninsula. We will start out with a sea-side hike near a temple and will finish with a waterfall plummeting into the ocean and a long suspension bridge. Then it will be a leisurely walk through the forest and seaside with great views of the cliffs that make Jogasaki a great site for rock climbing. This is a one way hike so every step will be a new one.
The hike will end at the Izu Kogen brewery which is famous for its local seafood. We'll have time for a couple of great local beers and snack on some of the local seafood specialties, so just bring a light lunch for the hike.
We have packed the schedule with a lot of great things, but it will be done at a leisurely pace so you can truly enjoy this weekend day on the coast.
