The KuroKura Canyon on the east side of the Tanzawa mountain range is one of the more adventurous beginner level Shower Climbing routes in the Kanto area. The water here is amazingly clean, and you can see all the way to the bottom of the deep emerald green pools. There are numerous pools that will require a short swim to cross, as well as many waterfalls to climb. There will also be numerous opportunities for diving into the deep pools of the river for those looking for more of a thrill.

We will be climbing in the traditional Japanese style wearing Tabi Shoes and grass sandals (Waraji). There will be opportunities in some places for diving into the water, and we will be taking things at a relaxed pace. This will be a great chance for escaping the heat of the city, and cooling off in a beautiful landscape.
