On this trip we are headed to Nagano to try our hand at skiing in powder in the Japanese Alps. Trip departs Friday night at 7:30 p.m. from Ikebukuro Station. 2 nights lodging, 2 day's breakfast, and 2 days lift tickets are included in trip fee.
We are staying in the center of Madarao Village a short walk to the main resort. Lots of restaurant and bar options are available in town so you will find anything you need easily.
We will be spending both days at Madarao skiing on some of the best powder terrain in Nagano. We are arranging a 2 day pass for both Madarao and Tangram which are connecting at the summit of each resort. Both resorts have some great tree runs and plenty of other ungroomed terrain. There will be plenty to keep you buys for two days. Hot springs are also available in town.
Ski / Snowboard Rentals:
We can arrange for a ski and snowboard set to be delivered to the ski resort and rental prices cost between 2000~3000 yen per day for board and boots set depending on the quality level.
Lodging Details
We will be staying at the Midori-no-kaze Chalet which has 8 guest rooms with shower and toilet in each room. We will also be renting a large screen and projector and will play some ski / snowboard films on Saturday night. Breakfast is included each morning and we will prepare a simple continental style breakfast ourselves.
