Geocaching is a fun outdoor activity that anyone can do. To define it simply, it is treasure hunting with a GPS enabled device. You go out in the forest and search using coordinates and clues. Once you find the cache, you are able to exchange an item from the cache with an item that you brought along.
On this trip we will teach you all the basics you need to be able to get into geocaching, including what smart phone apps to use, the lingo of the hobby like what's a travel bug or swag?
One of the great features of the Motosuko area besides the numerous caches to hunt for is we will also hike to one of the most amazing Mt. Fuji which is featured on the 1,000 yen note.
To celebrate our treasure hunt and finds, we'll head to the Fujizakura Brewery and have a pint or two before returning home. First beer is on us!
