This is a great warm-up hike to help you ease back into the hiking season after a long winter. Narukami-yama has a long history as a sacred mountain for people practicing asceticism and also we are timing this hike to hit the peak of the flower season when there should be some great mountain flowers blooming.
The hike itself is fairly tame with with a total distance of 6.5km and 500 meters of elevation gained and lost through the hike. There are a couple of rocky bits, one of which will have a rope to assist on the descent, but nothing too steep or high.
Following the hike we will stop by a local hot spring before heading back to Tokyo.
