Sanpo Bunzan is a lesser known mountain above lake Shoji in the Mt. Fuji 5 Lakes area. This mountain may not be particularly famous, but it sports some amazing views and has few people hiking making for a great day of hiking.
We will start from the Northern Shore of Lake Shoji and then begin a moderate ascent up to a pass and then cross over to Sanpo Bunzan Peak the highest point of the hike. From there we continue hiking southwest along the main ridge past multiple panorama view points with great views of Fuji and the Southern Alps. The descent is not steep and brings us back to the lake side.
After the hike we'll make a drive to the Fujizakura Brewery to where your first beer is on Kanto Adventures. They have a great beer snacks menu as well. We aim to be back in Fuchu after the event around 7~7:30 p.m.
