This trip departs on Friday night the 18th at 8:00p.m. from Ikebukuro station. 2 nights lodging and 2 meals are included in this trip as well as 2 full day lift tickets.
The order of resorts for this trip will depend on the snow conditions and we will choose the best conditions for each resort.
Alts Bandai / Nekoma
There is a new lift just opening this year that connects to the two resorts together. Alts has some south facing courses as well as a large ski bowl at the summit with ungroomed areas and tree run potential as well. Nekoma is north facing, stays cold and has some very steep runs including ungroomed stuff. The plan is to base out of Nekoma as it is closer to our lodge but you will have full access to both resorts which are run by Hoshino so have some nice food options as well.
Gran Deco Resort
Gran Deco is rebranding itself and trying to really up it's game by opening up new tree runs where previously the ski patrol had been quite strict about entering the trees. There are beginner and intermediate level tree runs as well so it's a great place to get started with this sort of skiing. The food is amazing as well. Optionally there may be an opportunity for a backcountry route to climb up to the summit and ski down in the summit back country area for those who have the BC gear and experience. The food at this Tokyu resort is also amazing.
Ski / Snowboard Rentals:
We can arrange for a ski and snowboard set to be picked up on the way to the mountain. Gear can also be sent in advance to the lodge.
Lodging Details - Sengan Cottage
Our cabin has 10 futons in total split among 4 bedrooms and has a western style kitchen and all ammenities needed for a night up in the mountains. It's in a great setting between the lake and mountains, and provides quick access to the ski areas.
